Upload Files

The upload form works very simple here is the complete functions.

Add submission

When you are in page add submission the upload form always will be after description area if uploads are allowed in that category. You can select a single file one by one to upload, or you can drag and drop multiple files at once.

After you add files you must wait for the website to upload your files, this depends also on your internet speeds.

Set as preview in add submission can be tricky, in logic way the upload form don't know if you will gonna finish you submission or you will abandon and let files uploaded already in the server, if you keep uploading files and set as preview results in multiple previews set as results. The upload is set to set last image uploaded as preview, that means in logic way is the final file you upload.

If your previews in edit mode is more images than one you can set one preview again and save.

Edit submission

In edit form of upload you can see all uploaded files for that submissions, you also have full control of delete or upload new files. You can also set a preview for any image uploaded by your choice.

Each file have an id, files are sorted by id not by type or name.

In the image you can see the actions for files:

1. You can delete the file.
2. You can set image as preview.
3. You can see uploaded files.

Preview of uploaded images are more effective in edit mode, you can see it bigger when mouse

hover.

Mirror Link

You can add external link for download files for your submission.

General limits for upload files:

• Images in most cases 1 mb per image file.
• Files depends, somewhere 20 - 50 mbs per file.
• Limit of images, in general 10 - 20, but in somecases just one, for example: System requirements needs just one cover image not 10.
• Limits of files, there is no limit for uploaded files.
• You can upload also one mp3 sounds as preview in reverse that sounds are not visual, limit to just one mp3 file for preview. we recommend max. 30 seconds for the preview sound, 10-15 seconds are ideal.
